We were attracted to the museum by the fun outdoor fire/warming center with benches. There was a clear and interesting display on the history of the Fox Valley area and also turn of the century builders, etc. A must see for newcomers to the area and all history buffs!

Take the time to walk through the Geneva History section and also to see the special exhibit that is going on while you are there. The gift shop has lots of local treats from 1.00 to 60.00. The staff is very helpful as are the volunteers.

Stop in for local history, interesting rotating exhibits, and a great gift shop. It's right in the heart of the Geneva 3rd Street shopping district. The staff is wonderful.

If you are interested in the history of Geneva and the surrounding area this is a great place to visit. They have a section of the museum dedicated to local history and also other areas dedicated to rotating exhibits. I took my two boys to a lego train exhibit they had and we had a blast.

A slice of Americana in one of the oldest, established towns in Illinois. The rotating exhibits are, at turns, educational, sobering, amusing, but always satisfying. Further, the archivists on staff have a plethora of documents related to the architectural gems in the area.

I love history and I've seen more than my share of uninspiring disorganized local history museums. We had no intention of going here ... didn't think it would be worth the $2 admission. But we heard that it was National Museum Day and that admission was free so decided to drop in. This is without a doubt the best county-level... More

Ally of history to see here. The civil War jacket is way cool. The funny photo are was fun too over time. It's definitely worth it and my son loved the train. Definitely go. Worth it.

i find this space to be lackluster. A place to buy expensive Geneva t-shirts and subsidize employment for those with liberal arts degrees. The history is interesting, but could be provided in a self-service kiosk.
