We visited whilst on a caravan break in southport. The iron men are amazing. The beach is clean and the promenade leading up to it is very well kept. There is an ice cream van and a chip/snack/burger van as well but to be honest they are a bit pricy when if you venture back into town after seeing the... More

Beautiful walkway if you don't want to walk on the beach. Lots of places to sit either on the wall or benches. The men in the Sand / Water are a sight to see. With a stop for either hot food & drinks from the van or an ice cream from the other van. Very reasonable change for parking. £1... More

Ideal for all walking abilities some paths around the marina and along the sea front. Great way to pass the time. You have to purchase parking but that can be claimed back for the visitor centre when you pop in for a coffee. Great location

I myself live very near to Crosby beach, in fact just down the road in Formby. Crosby beach offers a variety of attractions starting with Anthony Gormleys iron men and a great lakeside activity centre. There is a nearby swimming pool and often food vans are parked supplying the local visitors with seaside grub! Beach has been kept immaculately clean... More

A great spot for a peaceful walk - but if you want to see the Iron Men, make sure you go when the tide is out, otherwise they are underwater!

Just looking at the sea raising on the beach then back down, and looking at statues that you took a photo with starting to drown I just too cool. Never seen anything like it

Close to Hall Road Station by Coastguard building. Choice of beach or grassed area with plenty of seats around. Food and ice cream van most times. Toilets 30p, take 10p only X 3. Great views of shipping and views out to Irish Sea and across River Dee to Wales. 100 Iron men stretched along beach called Another Place by Anthony... More

Very clean beach, with proper parking and marina. Lovely walks along the shores. Not too crowded as well. Close to Liverpool, yet has its own charm.

A couple of hours total unwind watching the world go by!! Great views across the estuary. Ships and boats slowly meandering in and out of the ports. The first time we have seen the statues on the beach. So different and thought provoking standing in the tide looking out to sea. Regular beach patrols. Worth taking note of the tidal... More
