There is an argument that to keep things as natural as possible where parks are concerned but that sometimes draws close to unkempt and overgrown and possibly stagnant. I cant believe there are any fish alive in the old boating lake but everything else above the water seems to be thriving. The lake leaves you imagining what a lovely place... More

We took our granddaughters here for a picnic. The woodland walks, the big picnic/ playing field and car park mean that however many people are there it never seems crowded. Be aware that the Rushmere park is signposted whilst the Stockgrove entrance on Brickhill Road is only signed when you reach it. But both ends have a car park, cafe... More

This is a great place to relax with the family and if you're a dog owner they'll be in their element too. You can walk all around the park (very big) or just relax by the cafe. Would recommend to anyone who likes getting out in the country.

Well cared for country park with lots of interesting walks. Two cafes serving reasonable refreshments. Website information could be improved - difficult to find good maps of the park. Will definitely visit again.

We happened upon Stockgrove Country Park by chance as we were unable to go where we originally planned. We had a wonderful time walking along a few of the routes and witnessed some amazing views. It really felt like we were alone throughout the majority of the visit. We will be returning soon, so we can see the set of... More

One of the hidden gems around Milton Keynes. Absolutely love this place. Beautiful old oak trees around a stunning lake. It does not feel like you're a 5 minute drive to civilisation. The kids have tons of fun here too as there are many nooks and crannies to discover. The last time we visited we saw some fairy tale mushrooms.

I have been coming here for years and still enjoy it as much as the first time. The areas around the car parks and lake can get quite busy as it is easily accessible for families, but it is still possible to find peace and quiet away for these areas with many different routes that can e taken through the...
