Well worth a visit if you are in the area, especially good for kids. Has some great events throughout the year jousting and knights etc. Need to keep your eye on the local adverts or in the tourist press.

Although the ruins were locked and we couldn't visit the interior, we loved photographing this small castle completely surrounded by a picturesque moat. Plus, this great bit of history was FREE!
