The Arboretum is beautiful for walks, hikes or bike rides. You can also get tickets to ride the informative tram all over. The restaurant is quite lovely and the gift shop is amazing. The Children's Garden is the best ever for younger children; it stretches on and on with climbing structures, ponds and sturdy playground type wood equipment.

Morton is a great place to catch up with friends and family and sample the latest display. This origami exhibit is one of the best yet.

We were there on a Sunday and it was so busy that it was hard to find a parking space. But once inside, the arboretum is so large we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Winding paths lead you through various stands of trees and the special displays of origami. I'm not a tree person and wish there... More

A friend and member of the arboretum took me here on a chilly, overcast day. We still had a great time. Could have spent even more time, given the lack of crowds and beauty of the place. Paths are easy to walk on. Everything is well cared for. Check out the large, well-stocked gift shop before you leave.

Spent an excellent few hours at the arboretum. This place is large and it truly is a living museum of trees. Lots to learn here. There is so much more than trees. Nature abounds and it is easy to find a quiet spot to relax and recharge. We attended Mother's Day and there were many cars in the lot, but... More

I've been a member of Morton Arb for a couple of years. They have a wide variety of shows & exhibits all year long. Family-friendly, but also excellent for couples & singles. The volunteers are amazing! So friendly & helpful. As a member, your guests are only $5. Price of membership is well worth it. The shop is fantastic too.... More

Our first time to Morton Arboretum and it was an awsome day. Not too warm, not too cool. We walked about 10 miles in total. The highs were some of the colors of the trees around the lakes, the lows were the cafeteria closing at 2, not much in food options after that, and the lack of labeling on trees... More

Visited in late April, as many flowers and trees were in bloom. Highly recommend the narrated trolley tour, which lasts about an hour, but costs extra. It is the best way to view the expansive area and receive a history lesson on the property as well as a perspective on tree types and flora. As long as you visit from... More

It's a breath of fresh air, no matter the time of year. I love it in the spring, when everything is fresh is just blooming. The summer is chocked full of fun events for all ages. The fall is my personal favorite, for obvious reasons (fall colors!). Finally, I have a winter birthday and celebrate every year with the holiday... More
