We've been here during the summer and now the winter (for the Winter Illumination). Both times we've loved it. I was taken back by the cost to walk through a small part of the arboretum during the winter but after doing it, it was well...More

This is a spectacular holiday light show that uses all the trees as background/support for the fabulously innovative light show. Some are partnered with music, and all are breathtaking. It is an easy 1 mile walk, but bundle up...it was 1 degree F when we...More

We visited on 12/26 - it was below 0 in the wind chill. I suggest wearing really warm foot coverings or even battery warming socks if the temps are that low when you go, along with all the proper body, hand and head coverings. It’s...More

The darker it is, the better. Our time frame began at 4.30pm - way too light outside to appreciate the illuminations and it was far too cold to linger - which is why I gave this exhibit only two stars. When it's 10F with a...More

Had family in from out of town for the holidays. Attended Morton Arboretum to support a local festivity. Breath taking lights and attractions. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to see Illumination and we thought it was incredible! This display is very different from the light shows at both area zoos and is worth the $18.00. The path is about a mile long with rest areas and warming stations...More
