I did not really know the history of this until my nephew filled me in about it. I learned a lot about Route 66 and how it affected different towns it ran through. Very interesting pictures and items from different eras.

Arrived quite late so had to rush around a bit. I think if I had had more time I would give it 4 or 5 stars. The photographic exhibit was superb really regret having to rush that.

Yes it is but the staff are on hand to answer any questions . There are lots of tourist information leaflets too. It is a fantastic tourist place.

Our last trip was in January, so yes, they are open then, I believe they are open year-round.

Free though there is a donation box and with the museum being of higher quality a couple dollars goes a long way
