An ideal location for relaxing brunch and then a walk in the gardens. The restaurant is set above the garden with a very scenic and picturesque view.

We are so glad you enjoyed your visit. Even though the gardens are closed during the winter months, the restaurant remains open all year and provides marvelous views no matter what the season.

The garden is a must see and we are planning to purchase a membership to take advantage of the discount for the Tuesday Night music concerts. We went six times last summer and enjoyed all of them.

Beautiful bridges, ponds, gardens, etc. Only advice would be better markings on walking paths on which routes to take.

Been a while since we went, but it was gorgeous there and very peaceful. If you are coming to Rockford, you have to check out the Gardens.

As a gift for Christmas, my wife and I have enjoved this very lovely garden on several occasions. For a Sunday Brunch it is a delightful experience, no matter what the weather is....the food , sadly, is beside the point

If walking through wooded areas, fresh air and being one with nature is your thing then visit here! Absolutely gorgeous grounds that are very well kept! The Koi Pond was neat, to see all the different sized fish and how aggressive they are for food!...More

I don't know and as the other individual advised, call them. Personally I believe because it is a Japanese Garden which is supposed to inspire tranquility and peace a drone would not be welcome during regular visitor hours.
