Tried this zip line together with my friend and boyfriend, this is the most unsafe attraction I have ever been on. Boyfriend got sent down without a helmet, my friend hurt her leg and I bruised my knee and broke the skin on my toe and started bleeding when smashing the coil at the end. Highly unsafe, majority of people going down get injured (used to work there)

This experience was a complete disgrace. My wife and I had planned a fun filled day of river tubbing and zip lining with our daughters aged 6 & 8.
We were met by 3 men in a van that was completely unroadworthy and from the moment my family got in this van we felt very uncomfortable. As we drove to the river for the tubbing, we asked about the zip line, and were told that the zip line had been closed over a month ago, which the owner forgot to tell us yet still let us pay for it.
We got to our destination which was 5 minutes from where we were dropped off, ready for a fun morning with the family.
The 3 tour guides told us that we can not leave our bags and valuables in the van as it does not lock.
They then opened the boot and pulled out 4 blow up rings that you would buy from A supermarket and proceeded to walk us through park to the river.
We eventually got to a spot in the river when the tour guides said , jump in here and we will meet you at the end past the bridge.
My wife and I and 2 small children got our swimmers on and got ready to float down the river. I asked one of the tour guides "are you coming with us? And he said no, I'll meet you at the end"
My wife and youngest daughter did not feel comfortable at all at how unorganised this tour was and decided not to participate. Myself and my oldest daughter decided to make the best out of a bad situation.
We slowly floated down the river, past the bridge, where we were to meet our tour guides, which only took 20 minutes, to find my wife and youngest daughter sitting on the grass and our 3 tour guides playing soccer.
We decided to end our tour there. My children were devastated, as we had been talking about this day for weeks.
This operation is a complete disgrace, very unorganised and a waste of money. Please do not take your family here.

Whilst we were initially impressed with the friendly staff and beautiful views from the top of the hill, in hindsight we all agreed we wouldn't do this again.
The safety procedures for the end of the zipline were clearly explained to us twice. We were told how to brace for impact (the springs at the bottom stop you from crashing into the the mechanism at high speeds). I was the first to go down (the ride down was all of 10 seconds) and made sure to do everything I'd been told (arms and legs out straight, chin tucked in etc.) to keep my body safe on impact. Despite my best efforts however the impact of my 'landing' was brutal, and my neck snapped right back as a result (the video footage is a little sickening to watch). I experienced what my partner (a physio) diagnosed as whiplash, as did 3 other members of my party. In the days following the zipline we and 2 other members experienced neck pain, as well as bruising on the knees and elbows (which hit the metal springs on impact).
No sure how this place satisfies OH&S, but it certainly wasn't worth $60.

The staff who worked there were extremely rude and dismissive of the safety equipment. I spoke to the owner who dismissed my claims and refused to email me back after I asked for a partial refund. Ensure you wear good walking shows and pack your asthma puffer - we were required to hike the heavy metal gear up the hill whist the staff carried the light helmets.

Being a novice zip liner, we were made to feel at ease, looked after with Chris and team who were amazingly patient and encouraging without being at all pushy! A must do experience you'll remember forever, the team even happy to video on our own phones! Thankyou for a great experience!

the Zip Line was great fun once you step off the platform. It was a bit scary at first when you are up the top waiting your turn but well worth it

I've done a few ziplines in my days, in various locations. And usually they are pretty calm, but this one really packs a punch at the end! Definitely worth checking out if your in the Cairns area! I tried it with my girlfriend and we raced each other to the end!

Have done several Zip Lines across the world. This is certainly the most exhilarating, particular the deceleration at the end. Staff were helpful and flexible with the booking arrangements. Would recommend those who enjoy an adrenaline rush, but do need to heed the advice provided about the ride from the staff.

Couldn't be more disappointed in this backyard operation. No one told us that it would be like hitting a concrete wall at 60kph !! Very dangerous and not worth the money and now 4 out of 5 of us are nursing injuries ! Owner didn't seem to concerned with our injuries
