Great views of the Mississippi River and the best part is that there is no cost to enter this park and spend some leisurely time here. Worth the stop for sure!

This State Park is well maintained with picturesque overviews of the Mississippi River which are assessable by motor vehicle. Hiking trails and camping facilities are also available.

We enjoyed our visit to this parked today. Most of the trails are easily accessible and the views of The Mississippi river are spectacular. We look forward to returning in the fall to see the change in colors.

The weather was exceptionally warm for February so we went to the Scenic Overlook! There are wooden stairs but good railings so easy to get down to! The river and railroad are beautiful!
