We had a hire car for this trip rather than go on a coach tour so we had the benefit of being able to stop.when/where suited us. 1 Stop was about 40 mims from Reykavik. The national park provided historic and geological stories and the...More

Read up about what to do in Iceland, and everybody recommend this trip. It's a full day out and to be honest I expected a lot more. We only stopped at four locations through the 7 hour trip. As well as with all ofIceland, I...More

All tour operators offer different types of trips around the golden circle. I would recommend renting a car instead and do your own driving. It is not difficult to drive in Iceland as there is not a lot of traffic outside of Reykjavik. Beware that...More

We had already seen so many phenomenal sites around the ring road over 10 days, were not sure Golden circle would be worth it, but was suprisingly good. It took us all day as we stopped and had a good look everywhere and added Efstidalur...More

There is so much to see on the Golden Circle Route. We went with a guide to take in as much of our stay in Iceland as we could. If you try this alone you will miss many places or waste time looking for places...More

The golden circle tour is definitely a must when visiting Iceland. Plenty of tours available or you can hire a car and drive around yourself. The waterfalls were my personal favourite.

It is smaller then I thought of going to be. If you were at Yellowstone, you can skip it, that is way better. The only better thing here this geysir erupt every 10 minute or so, not hourly. But only last a few seconds so...More

This tour was worth it. We went in winter so there wasn't as much day light through the day but was perfectly timed. So many good locations as there's so much to see in Iceland this was a easy way to see alot in one...More

We drove on our own and followed the golden circle route, Pingvellir Park, Geysir and Gulfoss. All within 1-1.5 hrs easy drive from Reyjkavik. Breathtaking views everywhere. I would recommend to anyone.

Hi! I'd go with warm layers of clothing and wind/waterproof outer layer. Layers are easy to pack with you. You can adjust them to the weather and easily take off top layers during car journeys etc. In Iceland the weather is... More

Dear friends, We are staying at an AirB&B at Laufásvegur 22, Reykjavík, Iceland, and want very much to sign up for your Golden Circle minibus tour for Tuesday May 30th, but your menu offers SO many places you can pick us up from! How do we know which place is closest to our AirB&B? Could you please advise us? Thank you so much! Joyce
