A real "jewel-on-the crown" for the Urbana-Champaign community year round. Clean, well kept with continuous improvements and a respectable collection of outdoor art sculptures. Ample parking and easy access on both North and West sides. Markings on the track facilitates exercise calculations.

The park has something for everyone, including a huge playground that's good for kids young and old. When I started running this was my go-to park. Lots of distance to cover without having to worry about vehicles.

This is a large public park with a paved path through the prairie, suitable for biking or walking. The path is lined with many sculptures, making for an interesting ride or walk.

Fantastic city park with an extensive tallgrass prairie, excellent paved trails, playground for kids, sculptures, and wildflower gardens. You can get away from it here, or be in the thick of it...your choice. Bikers, walkers, runners, strollers, and saunterers abound.

Two of my favorite memories was walking in this park. I have included pics that I took a foggy early morning when there was a herd of deer. Not sure if they are still there. A couple of years ago I had another experience with a mother deer and two fawns. There is now beaver. I wish they really had... More

Between the unique play structure to the beautiful nature walk, this park has always been a family favorite. It's a great way to spend an early Spring or Fall day.

You can lose yourself strolling through the grass path of the prairie. This is a very high quality prairie, thick with blooming forbs at all times. A lot of volunteers put in a lot of time to make this restoration as successful and majestic as it is. For restoration ecologists and prairie enthusiasts, its a very inspiring spot.

One of our favorite places to walk in Champaign- Urbana. Lots of families around the trail and at the playground. Lots of animals enjoying walks with their families and opportunities to see wildlife as well. Art lovers will enjoy the sculpture garden throughout the park.

The 136 acre Meadowbrook Park, with entries at Windsor and Anderson, and Windsor and Race in Urbana offers something for everyone. Hard surface and grass trails make it an all time favorite. The Prairie Play structure is great for children of most any age and the grassy open space offers an area to fly a kite, practice yoga or soccer.... More
