Great place to get your fruits and vegetables on a Saturday morning. They run out of things if you show up late though, so go early. They have a few other products but it's not the majority.

When my husband and I travel we look for the local outdoor markets. Being at an outdoor market feels less like a tourist and more like home. This market has almost everything baked goods, food bus menus that include breakfast and lunch, local fresh meats, crafts art, jewelry, pottery, and more, lots of vegetables/fruits vendors, plants, flowers and special interest... Best to get here early. We stopped at 10 and found some of our favorite venders had already sold out. The fresh fruits and veggies are amazing. They also have a nice selection of hand crafted items, jewelry, soaps, dog items. The baked goods are awesome too. I got some Scottish cheddar scones and shortbread...omg they are awesome. Lots of... Love local farmer's markets. This one is very nice, although I'd love to see more food vendors and maybe some local music every once in awhile. I've been to markets that have both and seem to draw the while neighborhood out for a fun weekend morning. Love to support local farmers and businesses.

I love all the organic vegetables, the great fruit, the large variety of food trucks, as well as some of the crafts. One of the largest farmer's markets in Illinois.

Grab a bite at the food trucks and walk around to see the wide variety of vendors. There is even live music sometimes and other surprises. I got an artisan Popsicle and a macaw licked it. Overall fun time.

Lots of fun! There is tons of food, prepared, produce, and even butchers. All of the vendors we stopped at were very nice, and most of them were from the area. It's nice to get there early when the crowds are low and the lines for some of the awesome food trucks. If you get there around noon you will... More
