We have visited this museum before, but my son wanted to go again and have a look because it had been a while, and as a user of RAF Manston in the past, I didn't need to be asked twice! The museum is located in...More

It's just across the car park from the Spitfire & Hurricane Museum but I can imagine this being easily missed. There's a lot to enjoy in the Museum, with recreations of wartime Britain, huge model dioramas and plenty of full-size actual aircraft to look around....More

Please do visit this museum to learn about the RAF and general aviation around Ramsgate & Manston. This museum is maintained by volunteers and they do a great job. Historical planes as well as modern fighter jets on display. It also gives a lot of...More

Went over today and had a brilliant time. It was an open cockpit day and we all climbed in the various planes and had a very informative chat with the attendants who explained the planes wonderfully. There was lots of very engaging exhibits and our...More

My husband is very much into aviation history and we visited last Saturday with our children. I myself found it so interesting, very impressive aircraft. My son loved it and the baby slept through so all perfect!

I love this museum. It's reasonable price to get into and really interesting. Considering the size, it's a good collection spanning the years that Manston was operational. If you get the chance, it's worth making the effort to visit.

For a small fee this museum has everything you would expect of an ex-RAF Airfield museum. I was pleasantly surprised with the number and mixture of aircraft on display and staff were friendly and helpful. With a documented history of the airfield and some very...More

Worth a visit as plenty to see but not particulary child-friendly. Two recreated rooms, a hut of airmen waiting to "scramble" and a 1940s living room well done but photos just stuck on walls and captions too small to read.

3 hangers bursting with planes, parts of planes, air rescue helicopter etc. You can put your head inside planes which provides an immersive experience. For slickness it can't compete with the Imperial War Museum, however for the range and amount of aircraft paraphernalia it beats...More
