Interesting place to take a family, much to see and look at. Learn a bit about some History, place has a local flavor. Well kept and nice presentation overall. Good way to kill a few hours if looking in the area.

This was once the estate of media pioneer Robert McCormick. There's a lot to see here so allow plenty of time to wander the gardens, take a tour of the historic mansion and walk past all the tanks on your way to visiting the military museum. Come during the great events that are going on all the time and really enjoy yourself. Didn't give 5 stars because of... More

McCormick who had served in the Battle of Catigny during WWI, its name was changed by McCormick to Catigny. The park... More

Don't show up a minute late or they won't let you on the tour. I ran to get water for the children in the group and got back 2 minutes late and they wouldn't allow me to catch up with the group. So I missed the tour. No one else was even there.

This is a great day trip for the family. You have the Robert R. McCormick Museum, the First Divison War Museum which is outstanding and the gardens. The only cost is to park!!
