Cantiny is a really lovely place to spend an afternoon, but is especially enchanting in the Fall. Displays of scarecrows, flowers, pumpkins and all things Fall dot the many pathways winding throughout the park. Start with lunch in the dining room and walk off the...More

I love walking around the gardens! Amazing in all seasons. The flowers are brilliant and abundant. And if gardens aren't your thing there's the Division 1 museum and the House tours- both are fantastic and worth a visit.

The Idea Garden is just that: A lovely, labeled garden area with four-season interest and plenty of great plant combinations to inspire Illinois gardeners. The Rose Garden is also a good place to find ideas for growing roses that will flourish in Zone 5. The...More

Even with the renovations this summer this park is beautiful. Their concerts offered all throughout the summer are great. Well worth the car entrance fee. Couldn't get over how many limos came through for wedding photos. We counted 22 while we listened to the concert!
