There are events all summer long. Concerts, car shows, movies, Battle reenactments, boy/girl scouts events. Dog shows. The grounds are miles of trails for walkling with flowers and trees. The war museums are a must.

This museum is wonderful - enlightening, inspirational, sobering and informative. The displays are so well done. Go, take your children and grandchildren, teach them the cost of our freedom as Americans. I highly recommend it! And only $5 for parking! Hello! What a deal!

Museum has been reconfigured and is not a great deal different from the original. More interactive displays, but this could be a more interesting museum. O.K. for a rainy day visit.

One of my favorite places to go in this area. It’s a well done museum that focuses on the Big Red 1. Worth a visit

A hidden gem in the western suburbs! Such a respectful display for our military in an educational fashion! A must see! Everyone we have taken there has loved it!

The Big Red 1 museum was recently redone and it is excellent. I only got to the section that included WW I, WW II, and Viet Nam. There is another section on the more recent campaigns that I will visit soon. Excellent artifacts, written materials...More

Our museum is about a mile away from the Winfield train station. You could arrange for a taxi from the train station to Cantigny Park where we are located.
