Went to the Baha'i Temple for the first time the other day. I have driven by it and always wanted to stop in. It looks especially good at time. The entire building reminds me slightly of a observatory. Religion and outer space seems like authentic...More

Fell in love with the architecture and the peaceful atmosphere of the temple. I went alone for some mind thinking and it was simply the perfect place to find myself.

This is the beautiful architecture right on the water front of Lake Michigan surrounded with beautiful landscape. It is the only temple in US. and one of the nine temples around the world. If you are in Chicago, you should not miss this place.

The architecture is splendid and the visitor centre explains the construction and use of the temple. The temple itself is completely silent unlike other temples. Probably best to visit on a sunny day to get the true splendour.

it had been many decades since I visited Baha'i House of Worship. I went in so the gardens were not at its peak ( summer is truly best for that). The building itself has beautiful designs inside and outside - I only took pictures outside

The Baha'i was absolutely breathtaking. The intricate carvings on the outside and the high ceilings inside took my breath away. I loved the message that the people who worship here spread and I was warmly welcomed when I visited. The grounds are beautiful and well...More

Depends upon traffic conditions which are very congested. I would allow at least 50 minutes to be on the safe side. Also it is much better to go on a sunny, nice day. There is much to see outside and inclement weather can... More
