Really nice trail. 96th street trailhead was not far from drury hotel, did 5 miles out and back on trail for 10mile run. Good mix of woods, homes, and downtown Carmel to look at along the way. Plenty wide to support many users.

The monon trail goes from downtown Indy to Westfield. Much of the trail is shady since it is a repurposed old railroad track. It had frequent exits for shopping & dining & has many free parking lots along the way. The trail is clearly marked...More

I bike on the Monon Trail on a regular basis. The trail is maintained well and a great place for biking, walking, etc. It has been expanded to the North and you can ride for a long distance without riding in road traffic. There are...More

We walk this trail whenever we have time when we visit family that lives close. There are a lot of places accessible off of the trail with ice cream shops, a pond, a pool, a rec center and restaurants.

A fantastic bike trail! Well thought out and well executed! Smooth, flat and well maintained. The Mohon Trail passes through downtown Carmel, where one can find restaurants, coffee houses, micro breweries, and shops. Water fountains and clean public restrooms here and there along the trail....More
