An absolutely beautiful park, nature center is excellent and staff is so friendly and goes above and beyond with interacting with the kids. Love the outdoor water park in the summer, and hiking.

We decided to go for a Sunday afternoon drive and found ourselves driving through O'Bannon Woods SP. There were several horseback riders on the trails. The park is well maintained. Its a lovely day and the overlook or bluff area was particularly scenic. Would definitely recommend for a hike or picnic.

Our club were the guests of the Bush-Sawtelle family at their family retreat. The event was absolutely wonderful, filled with good food, good music, good friends and some really good historical chats.

I grew up going here quite frequently. I didn't realize how great this park was until I visited other state parks and those in other states. The campground here is nice, the pool is great and there's a fire tower you can climb. The hiking here is also good, especially the trails by the Ohio River. Also a good place... More

The cave had only opened for a few weeks. The cave is shortly staffed rude tourist. We were not counted when we went in and were not counted when we came out. If you are in back of the line you will not see anything. The tourist will turn the lights out before you get to see anything. Watch your... More

We were here for a family vacation. Some of the sites are a little awkward. Nice shade in almost all the sites. Bath houses were better than most I have been in in Indiana.

Every holiday weekend, this park offers a step back in time. Volunteers wear periodic outfits, spinning wheels are turning, blacksmiths, tomahawk skills, quilting, cooking over open fires and many more opportunities to learn the settlers ways of living. Best part, the only operating haypress. Be there at 1pm in the big barn for this lifetime opportunity. The nature center is... More

We have been camping at O'Bannon for two years now, with kids and grandkids. There is a great swimming pool, nature center, and living farm area. Fellow campers are always friendly. It would be nice if the park crew would trim low-hanging branches along the road throughout the campground. Large rv's can easily be scratched when driving through. It was... More
