Drove almost 2 hours to see museum and was not disappointed. Skip is an amazing curator and took the time talk to talk to and answer all questions from my 8 yr old about history, engineering, and patriotism. I could listen to Skip all day talk about the exhibits and the finds. Mr. Ropkey lived an amazing life and his... More

What a treat to see all of that military equipment in one place. The folks that work there were so friendly and answered all of our questions.

I took a group of school children here twice in June. Lani and Skip were very knowledgable and you could tell it was a labor of love!

My husband and I stopped here not knowing what to expect. The property is beautiful and the number of vehicles is impressive. My husband served in Vietnam, his father WWII so seeing tanks, jeeps, etc from those eras was nice. Doesn't take much time to check it out so make a quick stop.

This place is one of the most interesting and overlooked place in Montgomery County. It is full of history and there is always someone there to answer questions. They keep the grounds beautifully maintained, so please be considerate and drive slowly. If you are a Geocache seeker there is a cache here. It is cleverly hidden and very cute.

In looking for something different to do over spring break, we decided to visit Ropkey Armor Museum. OMG! To see the variety of tanks and vehicles along with the many other military items he has, it really put things into perspective. I had no idea how huge some of the tanks were! My children enjoyed climbing into many of the... More

We visited the museum on our way through the area. We were very impressed with not only with the size of the display but the quality of the restorations. There were tanks, armored vehicles, jeeps and aircraft. It is apparent when you visit how much passion the Ropkey's have put into this collection. We highly recommend it to anyone.

As a family we visited with my parents and it is amazing all the items they have at this museum. It appealed most to my father, but we all enjoyed walking around and looking at all the interesting vehicles and other items.
