The conservatory had three separate indoor areas: hot and dry, hot and humid, and normal (not sure what to call it!). The first room was nice and had the butterfly exhibit in the middle. The next two rooms were the "hot" ones. I was very surprised by the different paths and running water features in the humid room. We paid... More

My friend and I were in town for a wedding. We needed something to do between the wedding and the reception. So we stopped by to see the Botanical Conservatory. There is very reasonable fee to enter the Gardens. A majority of it is inside the building. One of the first things you come to is the butterfly house. Only... More

I love the seasonal changes that they have. It's never the same. We visit several times a year. Great place to take pictures and explore the best Fort Wayne has to offer.

We always go here all the time. The membership is well worth it & the butterfly exhibit is always a favorite & when weather permitting the outside garden is beautiful & sometimes the kids get a little scavenger hunt too.

My kids, now 11 and 21, always and still enjoy a visit to the Botanical. The exhibits are fun and educational. The theme gardens are changed every three to four months. We were actually married when it was a hippie dippy theme with a Vw van, LOVE block symbol, and big colorful mushrooms. Recently visited when the theme garden was... More

An ever changing display of plants, flowers, and trees. This is a good place to learn about all that grows, or just browse and enjoy the beauty of mother nature while staying inside in a controlled environment. If you are into photography, there is a lot of subject matter here.

Interactive exhibits for the children. The theme garden was Mary Poppins and there were fun activities for the kids. Beautiful falls, plants. A return trip is in the stars.

The Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, located in downtown Fort Wayne, is a real gem. Displays are changed frequently, so the gardens always have something in bloom. Don't miss out on the spring gardens--it smells absolutely divine!

During our wait to go to the Embassy Theatre, we killed some time in this quaint botanical garden. Very interesting array of plants from tropical to being in the desert. There were places to just and enjoy the plants, and even listen to the indoor waterfall
