This is an historic movie theater in the center of a quaint town, with pubs and restaurants close by. The Artcraft shows vintage movies (which include every thing from Alfred Hitchcock to Ghost Busters to Christmas Classics.) The theater is spacious but still tends to...More

Once upon a time, all American towns (at least in the mid-west) had a theater much like the Artcraft. Sadly, most have been torn down in the name of "progress." But not in Franklin! A group of local folks have put a ton of sweat...More

This is by far my favorite place in Franklin. It's like a step back in time. Everyone is super nice. Family friendly. A truly wonderful family experience in entertainment. Prices are so much cheaper then other theaters.

Built in 1922 as a silent movie theater and Vaudeville house, the Art craft Theatre was built complete with an orchestra pit and full stage with dressing rooms below(theater seats approx 600 people) . Since then it has been reconditioned with each passing decade. The...More

Fun to experience an "old time movie" in renovated historical venue. Felt like the movie house of my teenage self.
