I spent a few hours visiting the art collection here as well as the special exhibit on the history of specialty motor cars. The art collection is very eclectic, but there are a few strengths, especially in post-Impressionism French art. The art museum is located next to the Lilly estate, so seeing the gardens and the house is also included... More

Attended the Dream Car Exhibit with a docent-led tour with our Cincinnati Car Club members. A most excellent experience!

My son and I were trying many different venues of museums and entertainment during our visit. I was surprised that he was willing to go for it. We spent HOURS inside and never got to the gardens. Granted the DREAM CARS exhibit was on, but we saw most of the others too.

Friendly staff, easy to navigate, wonderful art. We took a shuttle to tour the gardens and toured the house in the gardens. Really interesting and calming environment. The Dream Cars exhibit was absolutely great!

We were so impressed with the museum, we became members! It is a beautiful building housing impeccable displays. Dream Cars ends soon, but those sleek prototypes were amazing to see! The Rembrandt room is solid wood decor, absolutely stunning. We want to return to explore the entire museum. Don't miss the very well-guided tour of the Lilly House, and exploring... More

We had the best day at the museum of art. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with big smiles and very helpful staff. We took the guided tour of the inovative cars with the most wonderful woman. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. Then we explored on our own but when we needed guidance, staff was there... More

the Dream Car (one-of-a-kind prototype car) exhibit is awesome, and the exhibits on fashion and industrial product design (Apple, Stark, etc) are really fun for kids and adults

We enjoyed all the exhibits and the ease of getting through the museum. We especially loved the exhibits that were around creations with glass. Great place to relax and enjoy as well as to learn. Magic for the eyes and the mind.

We were lucky to be in in Indianapolis and have their wonderful Art Museum open on a cloudy, rainy day. The building is beautiful and the staff helpful and welcoming. They have a fantastic show on until August 23rd of "Dream Cars". These are mostly one-off designs from the 1930's to 2010, and the colloection was gorgeous -pure sculpture! Excellent... More

Trying to visit the IMA, I found out that even on days when the IMA is closed, you can still enjoy tremendous art! Known as 100 Acres (by kind staff who directed us there), and located right next to the museum, The Virginia B. Fairbanks Art and Nature Park offers a fantastic mixture of climbable, swingable art and all kinds... More
