Is a big monument, a lot of history. I wish they were open so I can go inside and learned more about the monument. Unfortunately, it was closed but I recommend everybody to pay a visit to Indiana and see the monument.

Can not miss it lit up at night center of travel for Indy. If traveling thru on interstate 70 just take Illinois Street to downtown worth the trip to see at night

The memorial museum commemorates WW1 veterans. The park is several blocks and is a wonderful urban park with numerous points of interest. Excellent stop fir families

This was a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. Very interesting displays, especially if you are interested in antique guns. The full size helicopter and the Shrine Room were very interesting exhibits.

Plenty of close inexpensive street parking that is free on Sundays/holidays.

There is plenty of metered parking nearby. VERY close by!
