Toured Oldfields a few days ago. The house is very interesting and located on the grounds of the Indianapolis Museum of Art. The house makes you feel like you have traveled in time to the flapper era. I would like to see the bedrooms furnished....More

The gardens surrounding this lovely old house will delight at any season. Christmas is especially special, but watch those lines. Take the time to explore front and back. Amazing art, architecture, and history await you and/or your family.

A must visit for Indianapolis. A great period example. So many things to see, you can go again and again. The grounds are spectacular, don't miss the whispering bench.

I loved viewing this home while also visiting the museum. It's nice to see a country style mansion as contrast to the ostentatious ones you often see. Make sure to view the short film. And explore the grounds.

These gardens would be worth travelling to even if they were not part of the Museum of Art site. Great variety of landscape, peaceful and wonderfully relaxing. Be sure to visit.

Stopped by here on a trip to Indy with my mom. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed walking around. The tour of the house was also interesting and I recommend it.

You cannot enter the Oldfields-Lily House from a separate entrance. You must enter the Indianapolis Museum of Art and buy your ticket there. $18 gets you into the museum, the gardens, and the house. The docent for the tour was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I'm...More
