My super-climber son loves this park. It's a 45-minute drive but well worth it. Beautiful hiking trails and a great educational nature center as well.

Very pretty city park with plenty of space to play, picnic, walk, etc. There are nature trails that will take you down to the White River and even some interesting repurposed architectural "ruins" that you can examine (and apparently popular as backgrounds for selfies, photos...More

This park has plenty of shade, wide open spaces, hiking, a nature center, and playground equipment. My husband and I visited earlier this year because it happens to be a decent nest for Pokemon Go spawns. Nerds! We have been back here one other occasion....More

Holliday Park is a great park, especially for walking trails. The trails are well kept and marked. The ones we took led down to the White River. Some of them had steps. If you are not able to do inclines, there were plenty of sidewalks/trails...More

love, Love, LOVE this park. Looks like a good place for kids but we take the dogs on the extended trail system down by river. It's a good hour walk with a little of up and down action. Beautiful scenery even in the winter.

Various playgrounds set up for multiple age groups. Hiking paths well marked. Dogs on leashes welcome and another place to walk your dog if in Indy. A gem in the city

We went to explore the many walking paths at Holliday Park on a nice winter day and took the dog along. The environment is beautiful and the playgrounds were impressive, even for our older kids.

Yes, many around the park, across from the park, many shaded areas there and around the nature center. My family and I have spent many glorious days having picnics and hiking adventures there.
