If you would like to spend a fun filled, peaceful day: with or without you child/children, this is the place to go! Much to explore on the trails. The nature center is refreshing at the end of a hike. Great experience for the little ones, and a great place to wear them out! I suggest you pack a lunch, the... More

Named for a family that once owned a daily Indianapolis newspaper, Holliday park offers trails on wooded slopes fronting the White River, fields, wonderful modern playgrounds and a newly-renovated nature center that offers year-round programming for all ages. It also has one rather unusual feature, known as "The Ruins". So, something for just about everyone in a relatively small area.

This is our favorite park in the city. It has an amazing playground that my kids could play on for hours. It also has beautiful hiking trails that go into the woods and down to the river. It is beautiful at anytime of year.

My daughter and I had many quiet lunches in the grass area. Our conversations were outstanding. I am going back this summer. Watch for us.

I've been to this park a few times and have yet to walk all the trails. My kids love the playground! There is plenty of room and interesting features to this park. Definitely one of my favorites and a go-to for the summer.

I've been bringing my kids here for years and now that they are in college & high school, I bring the kids from our children's ministry. My last visit was for a friends birthday party. We had it outside and then went on the Nature Trail, we had a blast! I just love it here, the kids love the Nature... More

Holliday Park will never challenge NYC's Central Park, but it is a lovely oasis of green in a beautiful residential area of Indy. Free and open to the public it is most famous for the "ruins" that were imported from NYC. That's a good place for a quick photo but continue into the park and discover a myriad of winding... More
