Interesting, but small space

We visited while in town for a conference and staying just around the corner. The downstairs showcases all the sports that are part of the NCAA. Kinda neat to be able to touch and... read more

I love museums and have been to many in many different areas. The Smithsonian, Henry Ford, Air Force Museum in Dayton, Pro-Football HOF, Buffalo Bill Museum of the West and many historical, war, sports and car/racing museums and really enjoy them. I was very disappointed in this museum. For all the hype over the museum when it came here, I... More

We visited while in town for a conference and staying just around the corner. The downstairs showcases all the sports that are part of the NCAA. Kinda neat to be able to touch and feel some of the equipment from the lesser known sports. There is a circular room listing award winners from many years. Banners of current school champions... The museum isn't very substantial, but it's pretty affordable and offers a good overview of the scope of NCAA athletics for those with any interest, some interactive kiosks about various sports, and a small gym to work on your jump shot!

The kids liked the quiz. It is very small and awkward but our family loved it as a short stay in a cold day.

Literally nothing here to speak of, exterior of building implies substance. Wrong! Little kids might be temporarily entertained by kicking a soccer ball, or dribbling a basketball. No "artifacts" to speak of, bare bones operation

I gave this place 4 out of 5 stars mostly because of the sports simulators on the second floor. Were it not for those, it might have gotten 2 stars. The main floor has a small exhibit for all the college sports. It gives information about the sport and showcases the uniform worn for that sport. One nice thing is... More

We do not know what we expected at an NCAA facility bit for the admission charge we expected more! The facility itself is impressive architecturally and is located in a beautiful park complex downtown. One can experience some of the exhibits interactively and learn about some of the great athletes. It almost seems like a self promotion of the Association... More

On a recent visit to Indianapolis we decided to get out and see the city via walking from our hotel. We were headed to Central Canal and right on the way is the NCAA Hall of Champions. There are some interesting exhibits but overall we were all a little disappointed on what is there. At least the admission is only... More

This was a fun and inexpensive to visit. Great exhibits highlighting the history of the NCAA and the various sports, the interactive exhibits on the 2nd floor were a great touch and we had fun exploring!

I think this place does a poor job of telling the story of NCAA sports. The picture here of the flying wedge formation that was used in the early days of football.is the best thing about the Hall.Keep your money and find something else to do.
