Natural Disaster' exhibit was really great to see. There was also a timeline exhibit of the history. It was a neat place to see and experience.

My sister, our kids and I wanted to check out the new 'Natural Disaster' exhibit that we were hearing about on the radio. The construction of the exhibit was impressive with lots of facts to read about natural disasters, such as hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes. The models of the different types of volcanoes and the types of volcanic rocks produced... More

Company function. If you like rocks and rock fossils you might like this more than I did. There was also a timeline exhibit of the history of the state of Indiana. It wasn't all that exciting.

For this visit we came solely to view the IMAX movie. There is ample indoor parking and there is easy access to the theatre. We were impressed with the massive and innovative "sculpture" crafted from cd's and dvd's that adorned the entrance to the museum from the parking garage. That alone is worth a stop at the museum.

The highlight of this museum is probably the IMAX theater, but the building itself is very cool and worth wandering around. There are a lot of cool little details and the fact that they restored an entire school facade to put inside the museum is pretty impressive.

Pleasant enough and reasonably priced but I would say just passably worth a visit. Seeing a lot on ancient rocks from the state which was not that interesting and much of the museum exhibits are still under construction or yet to be opened. If these were opened it might have changed my review. There is a separate but very nice... More

This museum caught us off guard with the amount of history and size of the museum. From IL, our museum can be gone through in an hour at best and this museum has had extraordinary attention to history and detail for children through adult ages. Excellent experience and worth the cost.

This is a wonderful, beautiful new building with lots of space. But like many of the modern museums, probably most of their collection will remain in storage, and maybe rotated out, because of limited exhibit space. Architecturally it is beautiful, but is it practical? When I visit a museum I want to see lots of things that cover a wide... More
