Lots of interactive stuff. Floor two is specific to Indy and had some historical gems. The museum can be done in under 3 hours, well worth the while.

We went to the Indiana State Museum specifically to see the annual "Hoosier Salon" Art Exhibit, but we were very impressed with the overall museum. It is a good collection of "small exhibits" on Indiana history, people, industries, etc. Since we had a reciprocal Museum...More

Had a few hours to kill today and thought to visit the museum. Nice spot, learned a thing or two about the area especially the amount of ongoing digs for fossels. Much smaller that NYC museums but nice just the same.
