The Indianapolis Cultural Trail is the BEST way to explore downtown Indianapolis. We walked and it is a very easy, flat walk. Do your research before you arrive so you know where to park. If you have a long day of walking, you may be...More

Had the pleasure of walking part of the trail Saturday. Things have really changed and gotten better. Very good way to show off and enjoy Indianapolis. There were bikers and hikers while we were out. Where we were, things were clean and attractive. I encourage...More

Another beautiful artistic and historic addition to Indy's streetscape. Just aviod the relatively harmless street people who enjoy sleeping along the monuments.

Wow, what a great find in downtown Indy. Jumped on the cultural trail for a nice stroll through town, good for bikes and walkers. It was absolutely beautiful as once it got out of downtown, it weaved through the beautiful neighborhoods and the whole stroll,...More

This is a very enjoyable and easy way to see Indianapolis. We rented bikes from a Pacer Bike Share. The bikes have baskets and locks. You pay $8 for the whole day, but you do have to "check in" your bike at one of the...More

The ICT is approx 8miles if you do it end to end. You pass historical sites, heritage sites, monuments, and parks. Do it all or pieces at a time. The absolute best way to see Indy.

By bike or on foot, get to know Indy the way locals prefer. The cultural trail is an enjoyable and active way to peek behind the curtain and get to know the bones of this vibrant city.

Ride your bike on the designated bike trail or rent bikes at many spots on the trail. Saturday mornings at City Market are fun to eat the the food vendors for good farm to table food.

Excellent!! while my subject line involves more paths than the cultural trail, the southern swing through Dwtwn to Fountain Square was very nice!

We spent 2 1/2 hours biking the cultural trail down town and saw parts of the city we have never seen before. Great fun!

Hello. I believe the Culture Trail is self-guided. It's sort of like the Freedom Trail in Boston...marked by special bricks in the sidewalk. You just follow the bricks the whole route and it takes you past different parts of... More

It is self-guided. I would start near Meridian and Maryland. From there I'd go "off-trail" to see the circle monument, then route back on the trail to pick see all the other cool buildings and shops.
