These volunteers at this small museum are very passionate about their helicopters.
I was there with the Vietnam Helicopters Crew Members Assn Reunion even though I am a Vietnam Era Vet. Some of vets got to fly on one that was just refurbished.
My husband being a Huey Helicopter Pilot -Vietnam Veteran went to Peru Indiana to be able to fly a Huey once again.
This organization that puts on this event annually takes old Hueys & reconstructs & maintains these copters only through donations.
