This is a fairly sizable and FREE arboretum off a busy highway. It is Serene and open to hikers and dirt bikes. There is lots of wildlife just park your car and get started

A beautiful treasure hidden in a good sized city. It is beautifully wooded park. It has great trails got walking. The most peaceful place in Richmond. Wonderful for a walk, jog, or just some relaxation.

This beautiful gem is nestled in the heart of Richmond and provides a quiet place to get away from it all. Quiet walks, the nature center or events like Witches in the Woods ensure there will be something fun for the whole family.

There is several hiking trails and car trail to observe nature in the woods. The car trail does charge a small fee. Enjoy just setting and watching the birds.

Come here to see many native tree species you might not see other places. There is a building with children's discovery features and many trails to walk on.

We stumbled on this while killing time in Richmond. We walked the trails, didn't have time to go to the nature center. The grounds are beautiful; there was a fairy exhibit going on and there were dolls and little houses up in the trees; would...More
