Quite enjoyable!

I attended a 'poetry slam' here, and strolled through the museum as well! I plan on returning every time I'm in town to visit my daughter!

This is a small but very interesting gallery on the Notre Dame campus. There's plenty to see, the staff are friendly, and the presentation is excellent. But at the moment, I would very strongly recommend a beautiful and mesmerising video installation by Timothy Earl O'Neill (is it a student exhibition?). Stunning

…probably not worth a journey, there are certainly wonderful works that are worthy of deep consideration, though you need to wade through quite a lot of second rate stuff to find them. First, location: while the authorities see fit to pay $400 million to improve their sports stadium, it does rather overshadow the itty-bitty Snite, which could clearly do with... More

This is a fantastic venue with ever-changing displays. Underrated and not visited enough. Maybe this is good because when you visit, there is no crowd.

Excellent collection in this art museum. Well arranged and definitely worth the tour for all ages. The various rooms with time periods of art was fascinating.

This is a free museum on the University of Notre Dame campus. We started out in the student art show in the back on the left. Very creative and fun. Then we went up to the permanent collection. There is a little bit of everything. THere were table set up everywhere, because for finals week they use the art museum... More

I discovered the museum 15 minutes before it closed, but the staff helped direct me to their favorite pieces, and I want to go back to see the rest. Beautiful space, knowledgable staff.

They have a lot of great artifacts. It is known for its Italian Renaissance paintings and their Mesoamerican galleries. Also it is considered to have one of the most important general pre-Columbian collections in this country. Check their website for all the collections they have. Also check schedule for all temporary exhibits. Museum is open not pnly during the week... More
