I live near this area and have seen it during down and up times. Around 2010, the Village of East Davenport began to make a comeback. There are some great restaurants here, a nice old fashioned soda fountain (with sandwiches & homemade chocolates), a wonderful jewelry store, an upscale Spa, coffee shops, a Tuner Hall now serving as a Stage... Very fun place to shop for unusual gifts that can only be found in the village of East Davenport. Plenty of places to stop for a quick bite too.

This area used to be filled with antique and craft stores. I took a cruise through there last Sunday. There was only one shop open as far as I could tell. There were a few restaurants/bars open but that wasn't what I was looking for. Took a circle around and then left. Not even Lagomarcino's was open.

There is nothing here anymore unless you come in the evening and want to drink. Used to be some cute stores but not really anymore. A lot of walking for nothing. Go to LeClaire or Geneseo instead!

Used to be a really nice place to visit but they have lost many retailers. Still okay for dining and drinking at night.

There were a few quaint shops in this part of Davenport, but for the most part, the streets were lined with bars, sports bars and restaurants that focused on drinking. It was disappointing, however, the actual shops that are there are worth a look-see.

This is considered to be a trendy, somewhat Bohemian area of Davenport, and in my opinion it lives up to it. The ages range considerably, with people of all ages mixing well. The only downside to it as a place for bar food, games and drink is that parking can be prime, but if you find a legal spot, you... More
