This is a nice trail in the heart of the city. It follows the river which is channelized here but still interesting. There are a bunch of interesting old buildings along the river and the trail runs along both sides allowing for several loop options....More

This would be an even better place with a white water park, and access to the river, kept pretty clean, and pretty well lit.

Walk by the recently remodeled Botanical Center and The Robert D. Ray Asian Garden, go over the river on the Women of Achievement Bridge, and just wander around downtown. Talk a short stroll or longer walk. Nicely maintained.
