This park is large. Has a play area for the kids and it has a nice pond with a fountain. The view of the Mississippi River was beautiful at sunset.

Rand Park is a gorgeous and well-maintained park along the Mississippi River. I loved how people adopted and cared for the flower gardens. There were so many beautiful plants and flowers planted there. I liked the statue of Chief Keokuk. They have a nice pond...More

Found this park while walking down Grand Avenue and wow! Such a pretty little park! There were many little gardens all adopted by families with flowers for the summer. One example of the big heart this town has! There were a lot of shade trees...More

The park was very clean and well kept. It was pouring down rain so we did not get out of the car. We could drive right by the statue of Chief Keokuk though and that is what we came to see.

Rand Park is absolutely beautiful. I walked all through the park. A lovely pond, flowers and plants everywhere, equipment for the kids, an outdoor area for concerts, all on the Mississippi River.

Rand Park is a surprisingly large and diverse park for a town the size of Keokuk. It is a very pleasant place to watch the river flow or take a stroll around the lake. The Chief Keokuk statue is certainly worth a visit.

Nice view of the Mississippi River! Easy to walk around and quite pleasing to the eye. Not sure I would visit at night! Seems like it could be dangerous. Keokuk is an interesting town with a checkered past. I enjoyed my visit however.

Keokuk was about 50 years behind the times from what I can recall. Perhaps that is ok for those who yearn for nostalgia. As for me I prefer a more contemporary way of life and all the creature comforts and intellectual... More
