No matter where you're at on this long well maintained trail, it's pleasurable and a great credit to Iowa. I think the total length is something over 200 miles with the loop and sides. You see cities, towns, and hamlets. Trees and cows. Farm fields...More

we rode bikes and loved the scenery. Many people were walking the trail too. there are many places to enter the trail where ever you are visiting. Just a nice time.

The paved 72 mile loop bike trail is a great opportunity for groups/families to ride without worrying about traffic or hills. The day we rode was very windy. It would be a good idea to take the wind into account in planning a ride here....More

All railroad grade, so no knee popping hills. Ice cream shops and restaurants and bars at convenient intervals. Beautiful scenery. Loop now available through Dallas Center and Perry.
