There were many rides to go on. Lines were not too long. Price was reasonable. Plenty of lawn chairs. Zip line was a recently added attraction. Eat food inside park or bring your own. Picnic tables outside of waterpark to eat your own food.

I returned from a 16 year hiatus from the Orlando water park mecca to be completely amazed at the Florida quality style waterpark that is Lost Island just south of Waterloo. It didn't surprise me when the Travel Channel featured it in its guide to...More

You don't have to be young or have children to have a blast at Lost Island. Great staff and tons of fun!

The water rides and tubing are awesome and it's a wonderful way to ward off 100 degree heat. Concessions are high as is the gate fee. Lots of teenage kids. Overall ... a good experience a few times a year.

After passing thru the entrance of Lost Island it's hard to believe one hasn't left Iowa and traveled to a tropical paradise! The venue is incredibly clean and well kept. Diligent life guards enforce safety rules and keep the people moving smoothly thru the attractions.

Good staff, great rides, and fast moving lines. My only complaint is the beer prices. Rides are fun for adults, children, and teenagers.

Four grandchildren INA wide age range enjoyed a full day at this water park. The add new things each year, so it's worth going back. There is enough variety to keep it interesting for youngsters to young adults, with amenities for the elders too.

We took teenage grandchildren, they enjoyed it very much. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed the lazy river. Enjoyable day for all.

Where are the deluxe cabanas located? I'd like to be close to the wave pool and lazy river. What deluxe cabana would be the best choice?

Jami - The deluxe cabanas are located on our elevated deck removed from the action of the park. If you would like to be near the wave pool you will be most interested in our floor standard cabanas.
What is a general cabana.can you bring your own chairs if lounger and white chairs don't work. Also,is there a place in these to lock anything up.

A standard cabana includes two lounge chairs, two upright chairs, and a side table. They have curtains on the sides that can be tied back or closed, and are an excellent meeting spot for your group. Only the deluxe cabanas... More
