Tgis is the place to go if you are into old and antique farm equipment. It would be a perfect field trip for kids or for family outting for kids 5-10. It's a great way to educate kids on where their food comes from. Not...More

We happened to be driving past on the way to the local golf course and stopped in ... this is not my normal word, but the exhibits were informative and opened up a world that was unfamiliar to me. Interesting.

Driving to Lawrence from KC, we saw a sign for the "National Agriculture Hall of Fame" ... how could we not stop for that? So we detoured off the interstate and pulled into an empty parking lot. A very kind woman came out of the...More

The National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame is a decent museum over a nice area of land. It has a memorial hall where you enter and then a variety of buildings that house exhibits related to agriculture. There is an area about chickens and...More

I kind of liked it, but it is poorly thought out it basically is a wharehouse with things parked in it. Maybe some audio visual displays showing the machinery at work? I don't know, just not a place I would go to again.

Website did not list hours or admission fee. Admission is $5. Email them for open hours . On Memorial Day , except for 4 employees, we were the only ones there. Rather sparse displays spread over a large area. The old farm equipment is interesting...More

Having come from a long line of farmers, I never forget how much we must rely upon the farmers to feed us. The history of farming is something too many of us take for granted. This Center helps us remember. I'm also partial to the...More

The Center and Hall of Fame was not quite what I thought it might be, but I learned some. I was not aware that country singer Willie Nelson has been inducted. There are plenty of old tractors and other farm equipment. There is also a...More
