Just returned from the four day trek offered by Guias y Baquianos to the "Lost City" of Colombia. It was a challenging adventure as the four day circuit covers over 70 kilometres of terrain through dense jungle and at least five significant climbs and descents. Add the hot humid air and daily rainfall in April and you are facing quite... More

The track is amazing. Challenging at times but most of all beautiful landscapes. Personally I like it better than Machu Picchu as it is has less of a theme park vibe. I would definitely recommend Expotur as tour operator. Everything was organized perfectly from the beginning till the end. We had Sigilfredo Camacho as our guide who was absolutely great.... More

You might find yourself too. I went with Expotur on a 4 day hike to Cidade Perdida, trotting magnificent jungle trails. We had a great group from different European countries with a fantastic guide, Camacho. He is involved and kind and good natured, takes his job very seriously. Also very knowledgable. The going is though sometimes with steep inclines and... More

Did 4 day trek to Ciudad Perdida with Expo Tours for 800000 pesos. Guide Jhon and translator Daniel were helpful, enthusiastic and great banter. Trek is tough, but doable for average fitness. Scenery is spectacular and you can swim in lakes and rivers along the route. Good food and slept in bunk beds with mosquito nets provided. Well worth doing... More

It was a tough, but great hike. Hot and humid, but we ended everyday with a hop in a refreshingly cold river. Our tour guides were Enrique and Luienrique (our translator). They kept good watch on us making sure everyone was on track and keeping up feed and hydrated. We had some people who got sick and they did everything... More

The tour: 4 days walking - hard but doable and actually very enjoyable. Take your time, walk at a pace comfortable to you and take in your surroundings. Camps along the way for food, rest an if you have a good guide - information. The main attraction: BREATHTAKING. One of the best things I have ever seen, a look into... More

We went on the four-day expotour trek to 'la Ciudad Perdida' (the lost city). It was a stunning four days. At times it was a challenging walk, but very much worth it. The land is beautiful, and the included food was fantastic, with fresh cut up fruit at rest stops along the way as well as three meals a day,... More

I spent 4 days doing the lost city trek with 1 amazing guide, Enrique, and super cool translator, Emilio. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and group for this 4 day journey. The days were hot and difficult but there was no better feeling than getting into camp, taking a swim, and having an amazing home cooked meal... More

I heard a lot of ´bad´, kind of scaring stories before I stared. But I´m really happy that I did it in the end, the views are really amazing and you walk through beautiful sights all the time. You do have to like walking of course, and it would make it easier if you´re in a good shape! The only... More
