Fantastic gift shop! Little 13 minute movie was informative and very interesting. Don't skip it! The actual exhibits are fantastic!!! Tons to see and read!! Good photo opportunities as well. Could spend many hours but is very enjoyable even if you can't spend a lot of time. I think it is great for all ages! The buffalo stampede simulation was... More

We had so much fun. We should go again. There is enough to see and read we both felt sure we had missed things. Volunteers and employees were great, especially those in period costume

We were here visiting family and decided to check it out. I'm happy we did! If you're a history buff like myself, you'll enjoy the collection of 1800s memorabilia and information. The gift shop has great Wild West souvenirs and there's a beautiful exhibit on Native American life during this time period. If you find yourself in Dodge City, I... More

The Boot Hill Museum is a great place and very interesting. I really enjoyed going from the general store to the saloon. I had never tried a sarsaparilla until then and I am addicted now. The church and the school was also very educational. I had a really great time overall!

This is a very nice museum to understand the Wild West way of life in that region. The museum has many artifacts and recreates and Wild West town, at noon on the main street there is a show: a Wild West gun fight between Marshals and bandits. Really interesting !

Traveling from Ottawa Canada to Phoenix Arizona, Dodge City KS. is not on the straight line but worth the detour for me. The Boot Hill museum has a great souvenir shop, starts you off with an informative movie that runs about 20 min. then you walk through many surprises in the museum. I guess it's the closest you can get... More

The Boot Hill Museum, is a time capsule ready for you to visit! Walk the wooden board walks and visit the shops and saloons of Old Dodge City! In the summer there are reenactments of the gun fights that happened here long ago! See the variety shows in the Long Branch Saloon, the First Union Church where Bat Masterson and... More

We arrived at Dodge City and made our way to the Boothill Museum. There they had a replica of the old western front street. Unfortunately for us it was the off season so we only saw it from the fence. The museum was open and from what we saw it was more of a gift shop than museum. However we... More

Heading to Dodge City meant that I had to check out a museum dedicated to the period that made it most famous. The welcome movie is handy to give you the basics of Dodge (from the initial fort to the more famous ‘city’) after which you make your way through various exhibits; Starting with ‘People of the Plains’ and several...
