Great little campground situated by Big Creek that was handy to get to from the interstate on our camping adventure on the way to Colorado. Would definitely stay again.

This is a small riverside campground conveniently located off I-70, but far enough away to be quiet. It has 14 non-reserved RV sites with full hookups. They also have a few tent sites. There is no attendant on duty. The tree shaded spaces are a...More

We had a beautiful site by the lake with electric, water, wifi, and restrooms. I could not have been more pleased. There is not much to do in the area, but for a 1-2 night stay--it was perfect. Such a. great deal!

I've stayed there a few weekends this year. I think you'll be fine - especially on a Tuesday. If you want a better guess you can always call the City of Ellis.
