This is a unique park area with lovely views and all kinds of photo ops! Literally 5 min drive from awesome downtown Lindsborg, this area is easy to find, tho, you are on a dirt/gravel road for a few miles. This spot is said to...More

Just north and west of Lindsborg, this is a large hilltop “fortress” with picnic and barbeque facilities built as a WPA project in the 1930’s. Kids enjoy climbing up to the top of the “castle” shelter house. Worth a quick visit for the views of...More

We love going to Coronado Heights! It has wonderful trails, scenery, and some darn cool history! What a great place to get away from the city and enjoy a little bit of country. It is great for some peace and quiet, pictures, picnics, or really...More

The castle looks like it does not belong in the middle of Kansas, which makes it even more of an interesting place to visit. The view at the top is very cool. You can climb to the top of the castle. There is some hiking...More

We stopped here near sunset during a road trip across the Kansas countryside. It is situated on a very high hill and offers a great view of the surrounding area. Access to it is via a short, uphill, winding road off of the road. There...More

I've been to Lindsborg more than half-a-dozen times and have never taken the time to visit, until just recently. It was a perfect, fall day with a good breeze. Located north of town on Coronado or Winchester Road (depends upon where you pick it up),...More

I drove near Lindsborg and decided to stop at Coronado Heights to break up the day. I like history and unique architecture so it was a great little attraction. You can park near the bottom and walk up the hill, or you can drive straight...More

Stop by if you're passing by Lindsborg Kansas.. a site to see.. and if you're on time for a sunset.. relax and enjoy a moment. A castle looks like from medieval times.. though it's not and was built during 1930's it's all for a evening...More

Its neat, and the story is interesting. The photo's make it seem more majestic than it is, but definitely worth the trip. We watched a beautiful sunset from the vantage point.

We had a small rental car and easily got up to the top with 4 adults in the car. Just go slow and watch for people coming down from above. The castle is neat, and the sunset was wonderful.
