Growing up in Kansas (and long sense moved away) kind of thought I should visit this little Kansas Gem. Was a nice little museum highlighting so much about the movie and so much more about the Wizard of Oz. I learned quite a bit.

I went with a group of four adults and 2 kiddos and we had mixed opinions. Two of the adults loved it and thought it was great, the other two found it to be OK, but weren't as impressed. It is crazy how much Wizard...More

What a pleasure to visit this little gem. As a movie buff and avid reader this was a great place to visit. Fun and full of facts. If you have never seen the movie or just need a little refresher, it gets played all day...More

Traveling to points of interest in Kansas we stumbled on this great little tribute to Dorothy and friends. You enter the self guided tour from Dorthy's house, then you walk through all the exhibits. You will learn about the author Frank Baum and the making...More

While traveling down the long stretch of I70 toward home we came upon signs for the Land of Oz. Brains intrigued and with enough courage to follow our hearts we eased on down the road. In just a mere 10 miles we came upon the...More

Stopped by at the Oz Museum while driving through Kansas. It was alright, seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. Fun to see a Wizard of Oz Museum while in Kansas

We visited this museum on Sunday afternoon, May 29th. The cleverly painted exterior makes it easy to find on Lincoln Ave. Inside, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The self guided tour is full of eye catching displays, recreated scenes from...More

The tour is self guided. You can spend about 30 minutes if you don't watch the documentary about 40 to 45 if you do. The girls liked the dark scary forest the best. They also liked seeing the Munchkin costumes and life size character figures
