I was really surprised by how wonderful this place was. Most places with signs on the highway are ripoff tourist traps, but this is absolutely not. Not only is it an amazing collection of everything Oz (not just the movie, but everything you can imagine related to the Oz universe), they really cater to travelers. They offered a military discount... More

Adorable little small town charm with friendly faces and an adorable pit stop. The museum was small but cute. Absolutely worth the stop if you like the movie or even the plays

What a great find. I never watched the WIZARD OF OZ as a child, the tornado scared me right off. The displays that they have explains the details of the planning and who did what. That behind the scene interested me. I even sat and watched the ending of the movie that was running in a room, but I didn't... More

Small museum packed with lots of Wizard of Oz items. Interesting facts about the cast and the author of the books. I had a family member work on the movie so I was thrilled to discover this treasure. Several life size figures of the main characters. Photography encouraged.

We were heading out of Kansas and on our way to Missouri when we saw a sign advertising the OZ Museum. We figured we couldn't leave Kansas without stopping at the OZ Museum. When we pulled up, it looked very small for a museum and the tickets were very inexpensive. But once we started the tour, the place seemed to... More

What a wonderful museum for all things Oz and the details about the movie, the stars and the author you never hear about. So much to see, so many artifacts in a small museum but so very well done. The movie has been in my blood since I was a child of the 60's and this was a real thrill... More

Much more than we expected. Great little museum with tons of Wizard of Oz items and info. It was really interesting to read some of the details on making of the movie. I would highly recommend checking out this museum and the town.

A quaint museum with a nice variety of items on display. The proprietor was pleasant and helpful and the entry fee was considered reasonable. Construction was occurring on the front of the building when we were there, however access into the museum was maintained. Free street-side parking.

Not to far off the highway, quaint small town, lots to see in the museum, but not the ruby slippers from the movie, The museum was to receive one of several pairs of the shoes and on the way to the museum they were placed at the Judy Garland museum in MN. for display and they were stolen and have...
