They have info and stuffed and living versions of various animals here along with 2 fishing pond/lakes. The have tons of geese outside so watch where you step. The info inside is great and the people that run it are great wealth of knowledge.

We visit here regularly. It is a beautiful facility and is well kept. It is relaxing and educational and the workers are very knowledgeable. Its fun for all ages and physical ability. You can see as much or as little as you like. Its a great asset to Kentucky! You can tour the center and trails and then picnic, fish... More

There on a beautiful Friday. No tours. No lectures. No love animals. Lots of school kids. Exhibits were educational but I was hoping for more. A 9 year old learns better from personal teaching instead of reading posters.

We visit Selato many times through out the year! We usually choose this over the Zoo, because costs are extremely low and we get a better animal experience. My two young boys always have a great time here and learn so much.

We love going here. Native animals in more natural habitats than the zoo for a fraction of the price. Staff is extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the facility

I have been coming here may whole life. I enjoyed it when I was young and now my kids get to come here. My youngest daughter loves everything about the park. But her favorite is feeding the ducks.

We took our granddaughters for the tour. They loved it! We took many pictures and made great family memories. LaVerna and Robert Turner

We've been there a couple times, little kids really love it. Plan to spend 1/2 a day. Anyone who appreciates wildlife and outdoors will enjoy the Salato Center.

The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The displays were clean and the animals appeared well taken care of. We had a blast! A fun day with a value that could not be beaten. Wear sneakers so you can take the non paved trails along with the paved ones. Pack a lunch to enjoy by the lake.

Really amazing. Great for small children. Like a small very well maintained zoo. Perfect size for my 18 month old. Can't wait to go back and try out the trails.
