So took the kids here based on a local's recommendation while in KY visiting The Ark. The place was nicely decorated and the kids had fun with the activities. However, the food was overpriced for what you got; my husband ordered a BLT and he basically got two sandwich bread toasts with a slice of bacon, lettuce and tomato. Same with my pulled pork sandwich. We have visited plenty of orchards around the country and even though we kind of expect the food to be pricey; the sizes have never disappointed, until this time. My biggest issue with this place was their dogs. They have a sign as you enter the property that all dogs are to be on a leash. I have a service dog and of course she was on a leash. The owners of this place however, have two dogs of their own that just roam around harassing you at the tables while you eat and beg for food. Not only is this not ok, as they require other people's animals to be leashed; but they kept harassing my service animal who was peacefully laying at my feet while we ate, until these dogs came around and wouldn't leave. I witnessed also another couple with their leashed dogs walking around and one of the "property" dogs came around and caused one of the animals to react angrily. In a place where you have so many children running around, food being served, and other peoples pets being brought in (and required to be leashed); it is absolutely irresponsible to have their dogs run the whole place unchecked. I don't care how nice you think your animal is, a dog can react bad to any child, adult or other animal they don't feel comfortable around. We cut our visit short because these dogs would not stop pestering us. Oh yeah, and let me mention that when I spoke to two different people that worked there, all they said was "oh yeah they live here".

This place is a COVID-19 petrey dish!
There was no social distancing, most people were not wearing a mask and those who were werent even wearing it properly.
The place was ridiculously overcrowded, lines were crazy long. It was impossible to know who worked there when you had questions. We waited over an hour to ride the train becuse the driver just walked off as we were standing in line.
We weren't able to do the hay ride, have lunch or let the kids pick out their pumpkins. It just wasnt safe so we left. Very disappointing, we wont be back even after the pandemic is over.

Decided to take my grandbaby for pictures out in the flower fields. The place was super crowded, hot and dusty. It's clear there was no limits to how many people were out there crawling around the flowers etc. Too commercialized, food was expensive and there were too many people there.

We found this to be such a pleasant surprise stop. We ate a fried pie and drank an apple slushi. So very good. Tasted the adult cider and if you like that sort of thing theirs was very good. If we hadn’t been traveling would have loved to get some fresh vegetables and fruit.
Great place for kiddos. Lots of people dressed up for pictures in the sunflower field.

They have the biggest pumpkin patch I have ever seen! You can pick your own or choose from those already picked. The shop is full of fun things, including apples, cider, sweet treats and gifts. Great play area for kids too!

There are several others in the area, but if you're taking kids - this is the best bang for your buck! They have a huge play area, pony rides, a hayride, delicious food, and a gift shoppe! The kids play for hours! They usually have live music going and you can purchase pumpkins as well! The only negative thing I can say is that it does get fairly crowded in October weekends, but that's to be expected for the season and is the same at most of them. We make it a point to go every year! It's tradition!
There are a ton of things for kids and our child with special needs especially enjoys the slides, the corn pit, and the duck racing.

We got married here a couple of years back. I was assured that my day would be special. This Orchard had another huge event on my day, and pushed my wedding to the side. They were not staffed for 2 events, and the event planner I had was brand new to me since the one that I had planned everything with had left. They had traffic backed out for 4 hours, in fact I was 4 hours late to my arrival time to my wedding! We had purchased this event space way before they had planned this huge event by FOX 56, and the assured us that it would be fine. After my wedding my mother sat down, and spoke to them about the trouble we had. WE NEVER GOT AN APOLOGY!! In fact the woman who books the events said " We always plan 2 events at a time and its never been a problem" My advice is that you should find an event that cares about your wedding, because Evans only built a barn to get your money. However, if you do get the barn that day with no other events going on for a wedding, the barn is absolute beautiful.

I gave my daughter the choice and she immediately said she wanted to go back to the place with the big pillow. We drove 1 hour and 23 minutes, past several other fall festivals. Evans is still the best. For $8.00 your little (or big) one can jump on the giant pillow, ride mini tractors and carts, conquer the straw castle, slide down 2 slides, swing on multiple swing sets, play in a corn pit (a sand box with corn instead), climb a hill using a rope, jump on tires and pet some of the cutest goats and alpacas I have ever seen. We arrived at 1:30 and it was bit more crowded then last year. She still had a blast. I barely got her to leave at 5:30. The cider is refreshing and delicious. The apple pies are the best around. You can also take a hay ride and pick apples in the orchard. All in all a great day and we have decided that it will be our new fall family tradition.

There are several things to do here. You can pick your own apples right from the trees in the orchard, pick pumpkins, and play on the playground. There's also a really neat store where you can buy fudge, apples, apple cider, pies, and apple cider donuts (you MUST try the donuts!!).
