Bring your camera! The little gift shop claims free coffee - and they have it. Unfortunately it was so cold and blustery that day that others had already taken advantage of it and we were a little late. None the less, the shop is full of curios and beach stuff, yet not overpriced. But the real attraction is the sunset.... More

We had such fun looking for the famous Cape May diamonds! I thought they might be hard to find but they were everywhere! We brought home a bottle full for the grand-kids. Most were real small but we found a decent amount of good-sized ones, they shine like glass when they are wet but turn cloudy when dry. We were... More

Sunset beach has the most breath-taking sunsets on the East Coast. You have to see for yourself. It is at the end of the Cape May island and in the evenings they do a flag raising ceremony honoring our war veterans.

We spend a week in Cape May and spend some time twice on this beach, best beach in Cape May. The stones to collect are fantastic.

I visited this beach in July 2016 and we came here one night for the sunset. The place was packed with other people who came out to watch the sunset as well. There was plenty of space though, so it wasn't to crowded. The sunset was absolutely beautiful and totally worth coming here for. However, I don't know if this... More

I visited Sunset Beach on each of the 4 nights that I was in Cape May at the suggestion of a "local". Each night found the sunset getting progressively better. People were very respectful of each other and of the natural beauty around us. Highly recommend taking the time to visit at sunset.
