Made famous by the 'concrete ship' that is all but disintegrated, and 'cape may diamonds' that can still be found on the beach there. The gift shop is open all year, and a great place for browsing and bringing back souvenirs, great little snack hut...More

This is my second time to Sunset Beach and I have to say that there is no other beach in the world that you would want to visit to see the sun set. The view even on a cold winter afternoon was worth the bundling...More

Great place to watch the sun set. There are benches to sit on, or you can view from you car in the parking lot. We were there in November and there were quite a few spectators there too.

We have visited Sunset beach for over 30 years before making Cape May our forever home! The sunsets are the most beautiful but what is more amazing is how people from all over the world come together each evening during the lowering of the Flag...More

This is a beautiful beach away from the hustle and bustle. The WWII lookout tower is visible as well as a ship wreck. Great place to watch the sunset as you can probably figure out by the name.

Drive down Sunset Ave straight to a beautiful quiet beach to watch the sun set or enjoy the view. Not commercialized, there are only a few buildings for gifts and t shirts but they do not distract from the beauty of the spot. Free parking....More

Get a bike and ride the 1.4miles along the boardwalk. At the end you see this amazing beach, seating and a pavilion. Touch the flagpole for a trip well worth it. We were there in the morning with beautiful views of the lighthouse, lots of...More

The beach is great to play on and find Cape May Diamonds, seashells and sea glass but not so much for swimming. No Lifeguards here. There are lifeguards at designated beaches in Cape May and Cape May Point beaches.
