Took the granddaughters, 9 and 12, here. And I will say 12 is about where kids will start losing interest in this. Until they get older and realize how fun it really is. Everything is hands on and geared to smaller children. Or really old...More

We visited today after not having been for several years. Many of the exhibits are in dire need of updating and maintenance. The kids, however, did not seem to notice and the Bubble Room was the overall favorite.

The Explorarium would be great for kids if the exhibits were kept up. Many are broken, missing parts or just generally in need of repair. The TV show and the bubbles exhibit are exceptionally fun. Let's hope a fix up will put this back to...More

My young children loved this museum. There were lots of hands on activities for them to do. Never got bored

The Explorarium is a great idea. There are a lot of interesting exhibits but sadly many are broken or have pieces missings. It is frustrating to children and parents when things are left in this state of disrepair.

Great science museum with lots of hands on exibits. Better for children age 4-10. Keep your eyes on them as there is much to be distracted by. A real nightmare when large groups are visiting. They allow 4-5 groups of daycare and school children in...More

If this children museum desires to impact young peoples lives and cognitive development they need to work with partners to update rundown exhibits and add new exhibits.

Lots to do and see. There is science, art, cultural experiences for all ages. I love to go with or without my kids...who started going to the Explorium almost 20 years ago :)
