Jean Farris Winery is one of our favorite special occasion places to eat. I was very disappointed in our server . She had on a sweatshirt and jeans , didn't smile , was overall not a good server , had to ask for a ice bucket for our bottle of wine ,she never clean off our table as we got... More

Stopped by while in town for business. Wine was good but several of the bottles were very over priced. We ordered a cheese tray. You get three 1oz samples of cheese with 4 crackers and 4-5 walnuts for $16! I was extremely disappointed on how little we received for the price we paid! I live in a wine region and... More

Short drive out of Lexington but a very nice experience. Not the prettiest winery grounds but they seem to be improving. Our orders were fine, even though my wife's fish dish was a little dry. Over all it was a fun night and we would recommend a try for an enjoyable evening.

my husband and I had reservations for our anniversary and sat out on the patio. The view was lovely but everything else was not. The wine was disappointing, the food was cold and my steak was overcooked.

This is a great spot for a romantic dinner! The sunroom overlooks the vineyard and is gorgeous in the evening. They have a nice variety of cheeses & meats to choose from for an appetizer, & my halibut entree was cooked perfectly. The Jean Farris wines are very reasonably priced & really good- our server was great about letting us... More

One of my favorite restaurants in the world. Seasonal menus and specials are always fabulous. Great wine and atmosphere to boot.

This was very nice place. True tasting! With a tasting tray and everything. Several different packages to try. Enjoyed the variety of types. My only complaint was that for a wine trail, they were GENEROUS helpings (2 oz per glass). Wish we would have been able to do something smaller! I know not typical request but with the trail, that... we have been dinning there many times. Last week on 9.25.15 we went their with two guests. Made my reservation few days early for their enclosed patio. They gave us a table on the corner beside a big party . We asked our waiter if we can change our table to a better table because the people beside us were... More

So there are wineries in Lexington - who knew? We visited this one first and the wines were all excellent, if expensive ... you know, for Lexington. But the bar area was elegant and the wines presented on a board. We also tried a cheese board. All the cheeses were also good, although the one with the herbs repeated on... More

The food at the bistro is pretty well prepared but is not much better than average. Unfortunately you are paying high end prices for mid level food. Their wines are nothing to write home about either.
