So much fun that we bought a membership!

My children had so much fun. They had a variety of exhibits that entertained all my children despite their different ages. We even saw a liquid nitrogen show. We spent over an hour here and they still were not ready to leave. Well worth the money.

Great fun for exploring youth! My son goes to the same exhibits but plays and explores in different ways every time! Parents can have fun too, but it would be nice to have some benches to sit while kids play.

3 rating because it seemed like at least half of the exhibits were closed for updating. Disappointing after paying full price. We had quick fun with the exhibits that were open.

My Jack and Jill Region held its Children's Cluster at the Kentucky Science Center without a hitch:-) It was an amazingly coordinated event and the Kentucky Science Center took great care of us by providing private rooms for us to host the large group for lectures, meals, and mothers' only events. While this was taking place, the various age groups... More

The first floor was more geared to young children. The museum has a lot of interesting things to learn. One of the floors had human development, which was interesting but not for young people. One of the displays said for mature audiences only, but there was nothing to separate it. So anyone could read the material.

Fun place for the kids to explore & learn. Busy but it was so big we were never too crowded in one area. $5 after 5 on Fridays was worth it! Bring your hand sanitizer and let the kids have a blast!

He learns so much everytime we go and really is just having fun doing it. So many exhibits here we have been... More

Our family was visiting Louisville and stopped in on a Saturday night after dinner for their $5 admission special. We didn't have enough time to explore the full museum, but our 5 and 7 year olds had a blast in the exhibits we were able to see. The water table had some unique features that we haven't seen at other... More

My very science oriented 11 yr old wanted to visit and having been to several larger similar museums was a bit disappointed. I'd suggest this for maybe children under 8 or if you haven't been spoiled by some other larger museums.
