Iconic racetrack where the Kentucky Derby is held. We went in September and the horses were still running. You can get your Mint Julep here any time of year. The staff is friendly and the grounds are beautiful. If you like horse racing or if...More

Nice track. Clean. Employees friendly. Drinks are pricey but include the Derby glass. Every one should try the mint julep. Didn't think I would like it but it was very tasty and more than one could set you over the edge. Lol

Beautiful venue for experiencing a Once-in-a-Lifetime Derby Day or a Sunday outing with friends to enjoy the day of races. The buffet for Stakes and Eggs is amazing and worth the 45$ for your meal, reserved Stakes room seating, and 180 deg view from Paddock...More

Great venue to be introduced to the world of horse racing! We visited the museum on a Wednesday morning (9/12) and had a backside barn tour that was wonderful! We then took the walking tour and finished up at the museum. The exhibits were so...More

Wished I would have had more time to do the tours and explore but seeing this in person was such a treat. It is beautiful, regal and has so much history in horse racing. I loved this!!

The track was closed but we managed to find an open gate and popped in. Great gift shop. Iconic from outside.

What's to say? One of the oldest, largest, and most hstoric racing grounds in the US. Obviously a bit spendy if you go during Derby Week, but otherwise fairly cheap entertainment. Head down to the paddock to see the might thoroughbreds up close, have a...More

You haven't been to Louisville if you don't take a moment to visit this beauty. Free ride on the LouLift from downtown, $3 general admission made this one of my favorite things to do while in town.

Didn’t know what to expect. I had read reviews from the place being “terribly outdated”, to "run down” to “will never go again”. But I found it to be an interesting place to visit. Betting on the horses was easy, (won 20 cents lol), and...More

Enjoyed the fall meet and had a blast. We got a table in the Takes lounge for brunch and had a great meal. The Wedge Sald and Lamd and Grits were out of this world. Will definitely go back again.

I would do Thursday and do the tours. Plus night racing is always fun. And I think Thursday is also when they have the food trucks, so that’s a different spin as well. Enjoy!
